El
Salario por Efectos Adversos (Adverse Effect Wage Rate (AEWR))
es el salario mínimo que el Departamento de Labor ha
determinado se debe ofrecer y pagar a obreros domésticos
y extranjeros por los patrones de trabajadores H2-A. Tales patrones
deben pagar el más alto del AEWR, el sueldo prevalecido,
o el salario mínimo estatutario especificado en las regulaciones
20 CFR 655.107
