The State of the Union will be given by President Barack Obama today, Wed., Jan. 27 at 6 p.m PST. Please join UFW supporters and members by tuning in on your TV or watching live at www.whitehouse.gov/live  to listen to President's Obama's proposals for 2010, especially his plans on immigration. 

In President Obama’s Martin Luther King Speech on January 16, he made it very clear we need to fight discrimination in whatever form it may come. President Obama  expressed the need, " [to] make common cause to reform our immigration system.”  The United Farm Workers has been at the forefront of immigration, as a partner in the efforts of the Reform Immigration FOR America campaingn for comprehensive immigration reform the UFW continues to lead efforts to ensure the voices of farm workers are heard.
