At the earliest possible moment, Senators Feinstein and Larry Craig want to offer AgJOBS as an amendment to the fence bill. Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, M.D., (R-Tenn.) will try to stop this from occurring. Today the U.S. is considering the Secure Fence Act of 2006 which will authorize the building of over 700 miles of two-layered reinforced fencing along the southwest border and mandate a virtual fence of ground sensors, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and will further militarize the border.
