3/29/08: 10th Annual Cesar Chavez Walk Los Angeles/Decima Caminata Anual de Cesar Chávez en Los Ángeles Thousands walk to honor Cesar Chavez on the 81st anniversary of his birth. Mayor Antonio Villaragoisa and Councilmember Jose Huizar, who hosted the event were joined by UFW President Arturo Rodriguez; UFW co-founder Dolores Huerta; Chavez family members; elected officials, school children and thousands of others. The Mexican regional music family “The Riveras” —which includes Pedro Rivera, his sons Juan Rivera and Gustavo Rivera also joined the walk. Viva Cesar Chavez
